Abstract

This research discusses the strategies used by Kiyomee, a K-Pop fanmade merchandise business that currently focuses on making K-Pop dolls. Amid various problems faced by K- pop merchandise collectors, Kiyomee is here as a solution by offering quality K-Pop fan-made merchandise at affordable prices, without additional costs, and faster production times. Appropriate business strategies for business development for the short, medium, and long term will be explained in detail in this thesis. The objectives of Kiyomee's business development strategy research include several important aspects in the business context such as identifying business growth opportunities, strengthening competitive advantage, increasing operational efficiency, improving financial performance, managing human resources, and so on. This research uses a questionnaire method and analysis of customer reviews via Instagram and Shopee electronic commerce. Kiyomee's business development strategy has achieved good results seen from all the positive results, from the growth of social media engagement to the profits obtained by Kiyomee.
