Abstract

SMK PL Leonardo Klaten has a program that is held every month to provide relief fund to students. Decision making in the selection process is currently still done manually, thus requiring more time and allowing for inaccurate selection results due to a lack of thoroughness which can lead to wrong targeting. To solve this problem, a decision support system was designed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method so that the selection process would be more accurate, efficient and easier for the SMK PL Leonardo Klaten to determine which students are entitled to receive relief fund. The implementation of this decision support system has succeeded in displaying a ranking that can be used as consideration for determining students who receive relief fund at SMK PL Leonardo Klaten. The level of match between the results of manual calculations and the results of system calculations is the same and produces an accuracy of 100% which indicates that the calculation of the SAW method on the system is correct.
