Peer Review Policy and Process
Manuscripts submitted to Information System Journal (INFOS) will go through the evaluation process with a system of double-blind peer review by reviewers anonymously selected by the Editorial Board. On the basis of reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the Editorial Board will decide whether the manuscript is accepted without revision, accepted with revisions required, or rejected. The revised manuscript should be returned to the Editorial Board within a predetermined time to through author’s email.
Reviewer and author are known to each other.
- Some believe this is the best way to prevent malicious comments, stop plagiarism, prevent reviewers from following their own agenda, and encourage open, honest reviewing.
- Others see open review as a less honest process, in which politeness or fear of retribution may cause a reviewer to withhold or tone down criticism.
