Snacks with a spicy taste are one of the foods that are popular with Indonesian people. Among these spicy snacks are crackers and chips, but the crackers and chips themselves are vulnerable to being crushed or damaged and if exposed to air for too long, the crackers and chips will become soggy, thereby reducing the quality of the crackers and chips. Sriping, as a business that sells spicy snacks such as crackers and chips, took this opportunity by innovating to offer snacks that guarantee the product is always crunchy and does not crumble. The sriping business development process is: (1) Conducting research on consumer needs, market availability and BMC management; (2) Conduct research to determine recipes, raw materials and packaging; (3) Completing products to be ready for marketing includes calculating production costs as well as selling prices and product legality permits; (4) Preparation of marketing management strategies, operational management strategies, HR management strategies, and financial management strategies that coordinate with each other; (5) Planning short-term and long-term development based on the SWOT matrix. The results of this development strategy analysis were then applied directly to the Sriping business, resulting in spicy snack products like spicy pilus cikur, lime leaves and spicy cimol chips, lime leaves, as well as repacking products which are still maintained as supporting products. The aim of developing this business is so that the Sriping business can compete with existing snack businesses.
