Ketika perusahaan semakin banyak mengadopsi sistem enterprise resource planning(ERP) untuk meningkatkan kinerja, tantangan yang terkait dengan penerapan perangkat lunak ERP berbasis Mandarin di sebuah perusahaan manufaktur di Batam, Indonesia, telah mendapat perhatian yang signifikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam terhadap 27 karyawan yang memahami sistem ERP berbasis Mandarin. Analisis tematik digunakan untuk memahami dampak hambatan bahasa dan pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja pengguna. Studi ini berfokus pada faktor – faktor utama yang mempengaruhi kegunaan sistem ERP Mandarin dan memberikan wawasan berharga bagi perusahaan yang menghadapi tantangan serupa dalam implementasi multibahasa. Analisis ini menyoroti peran penting faktor internal seperti keterlibatan manajemen, komitmen, pelatihan, dan keterampilan Teknologi Informasi TI dalam keberhasilan penerapan sistem ERP di China. Wawasan ini berfungsi sebagai panduan praktis bagi perusahaan yang ingin mengoptimalkan proses internal mereka dan memperkuat kemampuan teknis mereka untuk memungkinkan integrasi dan penggunaan sistem ERP yang lancar.
