Publication Process
PART A: SUBMISSION
1. The author submits the article via OJS and completes the metadata. Make sure the document is in DOC/DOCX format according to the template;
2. The editor will check whether the article is in accordance with the template guidelines or not and whether the discussion in the article is in accordance with the journal scope or not. This process will take 1-7 days;
3a. If it is not in accordance with the guidelines, the author will be asked to improve it via discussion in OJS until it is in accordance.
3b. If it is not in accordance with the scope, it will be rejected.
3c. If everything is in accordance, it will proceed to the review stage.
PART B: REVIEW
4. The reviewer will assess the substance of the article and will provide recommendations to the editor. This process will take 1-8 weeks;
5a. If the reviewer's recommendation is rejected, the article will be rejected by the editor.
5b. If the reviewer's recommendation requires revision, the editor will send a notification via email and OJS that the article needs to be revised until it is in accordance with the reviewer's input.
6. The editor will check the similarity score with turnitin with a maximum score of 30%;
7. If the score is not met, the author will be asked to improve via discussion in OJS until the score is 30% or below.
PART C: INVOICE AND LOA
8. The editor will send an invoice via email, APC fee information can be seen at the following link: https://jurnal.amikom.ac.id/index.php/joism/processing-fee
9. The author pays according to the invoice and confirms payment via email;
10. The editor will send an LOA via email after payment is confirmed (in 1-2 days);
PART D: COPYEDITING & PRODUCTION
11. The article continues to the Copyedit stage where the editor will check for typos, the author may be asked to improve the article through Discussion;
12. If it is in accordance with the article, it will go to the production stage and will be published according to the publication schedule (June or January).
