
About the Journal
Journal of Social Politics and Governance (JSPG) (Sinta 3, p-ISSN: 2686-0279, e-ISSN: 2685-8096) is published by Government Studies Program, Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta twice a year (June and December). JSPG Journal collaborate with ADIPSI (Asosiasi Dosen Ilmu Pemerintahan Seluruh Indonesia) for Reviewer.
Since 2019, JSPG Journal has published scientific articles on socio-political issues and community empowerment. The articles have gone through a process of editorial discussion and review, as well as turnitin checking.
JSPG Journal aims to provide a discussion platform for academic research and socio-political practice in the fields of political science, government science, leadership studies, policy innovation studies, public administration studies, community social empowerment and welfare studies.
In principle, the editorial policy of this journal is that the editor of the Journal of Social Politics and Governance (JSPG) is responsible for deciding which articles are submitted to the journal for publication. The validity of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers should always drive such decisions. The editors may be guided by the journal's editorial board policy and limited by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism (maximum 20%). The editors may confer with other editors or reviewers in making these decisions.
Peer review process is carried out by conducting editor evaluation (focus and scope, the minimum number of pages is 12 pages), double blind peer review process, editor decision (revised article, maximum plagiarism is 20%, the minimum number of references is 20 references, the maximum references are in the last 10 years), proofread (check by author). The time needed is 15 - 30 days.

Journal of Social Politics and Governance (JSPG), with ISSN: 2686-0279 (Print), ISSN: 2685-8096 (Online) is a peer-reviewed journal published in June and December. The JSPG Journal focuses on several studies: Election and Political Parties, Democracy and Local Politics, Decentralization Autonomy, Bureaucracy, Policy Studies, Digital Government, Village Government, State and Business Relation, Sociopreneurship. JSPG is managed professionally by Government Studies Program, Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta. Journal of Social Politics and Governance (JSPG) is also affiliated with ADIPSI (Asosiasi Dosen Ilmu Pemerintahan Seluruh Indonesia) and KAPSIPI (Kesatuan Asosiasi Program Studi Ilmu Pemerintahan Indonesia). The JSPG Journal helps academics, researchers and practitioners to disseminate the results of their research.
