Correction and Retraction
Jurnal PIKMA: Publikasi Ilmu Komunikasi Media dan Cinema is committed to preserving the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
The Editor-in-Chief has final authority to issue corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern based on verified evidence and appropriate ethical considerations. Corrections are issued for errors that do not affect the overall validity of an article. Retractions may be issued when findings are unreliable due to serious errors, plagiarism, research misconduct, duplicate publication, or significant ethical violations. An expression of concern may be published when credible allegations require further investigation.
All cases will be assessed fairly, with authors given an opportunity to respond. Relevant notices will be linked to the original article, which will remain accessible and clearly marked when retracted, to maintain transparency and preserve the scholarly record.
