Nation State: Journal of International Studies is a peer-reviewed journal under the management of the International Relations Department, Faculty of Economics and Social Science, University of AMIKOM Yogyakarta, in collaboration with Asosiasi Ilmu Hubungan Internasional Indonesia - AIHII (The Indonesian Association of International Relations).

In 2022, Nation State: Journal of International Studies (NSJIS) achieved the Sinta 3 (S3) ranking based on the Decree number 105/E/KPT/2022 issued by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Ministry of Education and Culture, Republic of Indonesia. The Sinta 3 ranking reflects the recognition of Nation State: Journal of International Studies as a one of reputable journal in Indonesia. This achievement serves as a recognition to the rigorous review process, the dedication of our editorial team, and the valuable contributions of our authors and reviewers. It also signifies our ongoing commitment to fostering excellence and contributing to the advancement of International Relations.

Aim

Nation State: Journal of International Studies aimed at fostering the scholarly work dissemination and research findings in the field of International Relations through interdisciplinary perspectives to further enrich the understanding of International Relations dynamics and its various dimensions.

By promoting rigorous scholarly work and intellectual exchange, Nation State: Journal of International Studies strives to contribute to the development of knowledge and the advancement of International Relations.

Nation State: Journal of International Studies is dedicated to promoting significant research analysis and presenting cutting-edge ideas in the field of International Relations, with a particular focus on the following areas but are not limited to global political economy, diplomacy and foreign policy, global governance and global civil society, regional and international security. Since its establishement in 2018, Nation State: Journal of International Studies has fully open acces, which means that all articles published are freely available on the website immediately upon publication without any barriers, enabling immediate and widespread dissemination scholarly works. We believe in the power of open access to promote knowledge sharing, global collaboration, and the democratization of scholarly works.
