Nation State: Journal of International Studies (NSJIS) is a peer-review journal under the management of the International Relations Department, Faculty of Economics and Social Science, Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta in collaboration with Asosiasi Ilmu Hubungan Internasional Indonesia (AIHII). NSJIS publishes primary research articles, perspectives, and short-form essays with fully open access and a double-blind reviewing procedure. 

 

In 2020, NSJIS obtained Sinta 4 (S4) rank from the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency (Indonesia). We gladly facilitate and, at the same time to invite all experts and postgraduate students around the world to disseminate their scholarly works in the field of international relations and then share ideas to make a constructive impact for science and the global community.

 

Aim

Nation State: Journal of International Studies (NSJIS) aims to disseminate significant research analysis, pithy ideas, provide readers with a wide array of perspectives concerning traditional and emerging international relations issues, and make a constructive impact on the development of science and the global community.

 

Focus & Scope

NSJIS focuses primarily on the significant research analysis and cutting-edge ideas of international relations within the scope of global political economy, diplomacy and foreign policy, global governance and global civil society, regional and international security.

 

Publisher & Publication Frequency

  • Publisher : Faculty of Economics and Sociel Science under the management of the International Relations Department, Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta.
  • Publication Frequency : NSJIS periodically publishes two editions in a year, i.e., in June and December.

 

Open Access

Since its establishment in 2018, NSJIS has been fully open access, which means that all articles published are freely available on the NSJIS website immediately upon publication.
