Nation State: Journal of International Studies is published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license permits others to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source.
Publishing Rights
In order to publish and disseminate scholarly work, Nation State: Journal of International Studies requires the non-exclusive publishing rights from the author(s). This includes the rights to:
- Publish, edit, and reproduce the article;
- Distribute and publicly share the article in electronic and/or print formats;
- Create translations or derivative works, where appropriate.
These rights are granted without transferring copyright ownership. Authors retain full copyright of their work.
Author Rights
Authors are entitled to:
- Retain copyright of their work;
- Reuse their content in future works (e.g., books, presentations), with proper citation of the original publication;
- Distribute the final published version freely to students, colleagues, or via academic networks;
- Deposit the published version on personal websites, institutional repositories, or scholarly sharing platforms (with acknowledgment of Nation State: Journal of International Studies as the original publisher);
- Receive full attribution and citation for their work.
